The Episcopal Church Medical Trust provides healthcare benefits to nearly 15,000 active and retired clergy, lay employees, and their families in more than 80 dioceses and 2,800 parishes and missions.
A non-profit voluntary employees’ beneficiary association, the Medical Trust self-insures health plans, partnering with health insurers to offer high-quality, affordable coverage to Episcopal Church employees.
Denominational health plan approved
The 76th General Convention has passed Resolution A177, establishing a denominational health plan for the Episcopal Church, to be administered by the Episcopal Church Medical Trust.
