Long-Term Disability Insurance

Assuring income if you're disabled for more than a year

Long-Term Disability Insurance supplements the Church Pension Fund's disability retirement benefit for clergy participating in the pension plan. Your employer may provide this additional insurance as a full benefit, or you may purchase it yourself through your employer.

Benefits begin when you are disabled for 12 months and continue until you are able to work again, or until you reach age 65—and longer, in some cases.
