Short-Term Disability Insurance

Protect your earnings for up to a year 

 

Short-Term Disability Insurance1 helps fill the financial gap if you are unable to work because of illness or accidental bodily injury. The plan replaces lost income should you become medically disabled for more than 30 days. If necessary, payments continue for up to 52 weeks.

Your employer may provide the insurance as a benefit to you. If you do not have Short-Term Disability Insurance as an employment benefit, you may purchase it individually through your employer.
