Once you become an active participant in the clergy pension plan, your pension plan provides financial security for you and your family, even before you retire:
- Disability protection for total disability.
- Benefits for survivors if you die before retirement.
- Surviving spouse benefit, from 50% to 100% of your pension.
- Surviving child benefit for dependent, unmarried children up to age 25, and for disabled children.*
- Life insurance up to $50,000.
- Lump sum death benefit of $5,000 for those eligible.
*If your child becomes disabled, it is vital that you inform us as soon as possible.
