What operating systems does EpiscoCal support?

Mac OS X and later; 10.3 is recommended.

Which handheld devices does EpiscoCal support?
EpiscoCal requires Palm OS 4 or later.

I tried to download the calendar files for Outlook 2002-03, and all I got was the Feast of the Holy Name 2008.  How does this work?
In Outlook 2002-03, you must import the file as an iCalendar file after you have saved it. To import and open the file:

  • Note the window in which you have saved the file you downloaded.
  • From the top level menu in Outlook, go to 'File' and select 'Import and Export.'
  • In the dialogue box that appears, select 'Import an iCalendar or vCalendar file' and click on 'Next.'
  • In the 'Browse' box that appears, browse to the location where you saved the EpiscoCal file.
  • Highlight the downloaded file, name it in the 'File name' field, and select 'OK.'

You may now open and use the complete calendar file. For assistance, call (877) 748-3788.

I had trouble installing the files.

  • EpiscoCal requires you to have Palm Desktop installed on your computer.
  • The installer file is compressed using Stuffit/Zip. You may need to unpack the download first.
  • EpiscoCal requires Windows 98 or later or Mac OS X. Earlier operating systems aren't supported.
  • We do not support Handspring Visor or any Palm devices running Palm operating systems earlier than 4.0.

What files are installed?
EpiscoCal includes the EpiscoCal application, databases for calendar events, contacts, and news. It also includes the EpiscoCal Conduit, which is placed in the appropriate location with other Palm conduits.

The documentation, EpiscoCal Reference.pdf, is in the Palm folder. If you've accidentally deleted it, you can download a copy here. The file is in PDF format and requires Adobe Acrobat Reader to open and print.

The new electronic Common Prayer (eCP) software is now available for purchase from Church Publishing Incorporated.
