Pension benefits for retired clergy, retired lay employees in the defined benefit pension plan, and their surviving spouses will increase 2.3% plus $10 a month, beginning January 1, 2008. The benefit for dependent children will increase 2.3%.
Although not mandated by pension plan rules, the annual COLA increase is one of the Church Pension Fund Board's highest priorities.
