Long Term Care Insurance
Prudential Insurance Company of America
The Church Pension Fund (CPF) makes Group Long Term Care Insurance available for purchase. This insurance is issued by The Prudential Insurance Company of America and offered on a voluntary basis at the participant's sole expense.
Who can apply?
Those eligible include:- Active and retired clergy and lay employees
- Episcopal Church volunteers (including vestry members)
- Qualified family members
To be considered active, clergy and lay employees must work at least 20 hours a week for pay.
If you enroll within 60 days of your date of hire, you will also be guaranteed coverage without providing your medical history.
Others may apply at any time by providing proof of good health satisfactory to Prudential. They include:
- Retirees
- Qualified Episcopal Church volunteers
- Spouses and surviving spouses
- Parents
- Grandparents
- Adult children
