Medicare supplement plans include optional prescription drug benefits administered by Medco. You pay a copayment each time you purchase a prescription. For each prescription, the copayment cost depends on which plan you have chosen and what kind of drug is prescribed. All plans have a retail annual deductible of $50 per individual.

*Drug Categories
- Generic: medications with the same active ingredients and manufactured according to the same strict federal regulations as their brand-name counterparts.
- Formulary brand-name: generic and brand-name drugs that are preferred by your plan because they help to control rising prescription drug costs.
- Non-formulary brand-name: a drug patented by the manufacturer and sold by its brand name, but not included on your plan's formulary list.
