The Model Policies for the Protection of Children and Youth from Abuse are designed to help your church organization develop its own policies.
This model addresses critical areas outlined in General Convention Resolution BOO8 requiring dioceses to develop policies protecting children and youth. You'll want to make adjustments and develop policies that comply with your diocesan polity and practice, canons, state laws, ministry settings and other factors.
The Model Policies were developed by the Church Pension Group, in partnership with the Nathan Network and in consultation with many other church leaders and groups.
