Clergy who retire with the Church Pension Fund and lay employees in the defined benefit pension plan receive a Group Term Life Insurance benefit of twice the Highest Average Compensation with a maximum of $30,000.
If you have Group Term Life Insurance through your church employer, your employer may offer a reduced life insurance benefit in retirement.
