Each of the Medicare supplement plans provides vision benefits for primary vision care, including an eye examination and prescription eye glasses or contact lenses.

  • Standard lenses: $10 copay
  • Frames: $130 allowance, plus 20% off balance

These benefits are offered through EyeMed Vision Care, a broad-based provider network of ophthalmologists, optometrists and opticians. The plan uses a large number of national and regional optical retailers, including LensCrafters, Sears Optical, Target Optical, Pearle Vision, and JCPenney Optical.
