Introducing Telemedicine

The Episcopal Church Medical Trust is pleased to announce the arrival of telemedicine, a service now available through all of our health vendors.*

Telemedicine allows people to talk face-to-face with a doctor through either a computer (with a webcam), smartphone, or tablet. Members can securely connect with a board-certified primary care physician on demand without the need for an appointment, even when unable to leave home or work. It is a much faster and more convenient way to address common health concerns such as colds or the flu with a healthcare professional.

When you’re ready to see a doctor, simply log on, answer a few questions, and within minutes, you’ll be connected and ready to interact with the doctor as if you are in a private exam room.

Learn more by referring to your Plan Document Handbook on cpg.org or by contacting your health plan provider.

*Not all services are available in all areas. Contact your health plan provider or refer to the coverage chapter of your Plan Document Handbook for more information. Telemedicine should not be used for emergency care. If you experience a medical emergency, call 911 immediately.
