Roger A. Sayler
Managing Director and Chief Investment Officer

Roger Sayler is Managing Director and Chief Investment Officer of The Church Pension Fund (CPF). He is responsible for overseeing the Investment Department at CPF. He joined CPF in 2014.

Prior to CPF, he served as Chief Operating Officer at Columbia Management Group. Before this, he spent 20 years at J.P. Morgan Investment Management Inc., where, as Managing Director, he headed such areas as Structured Equity Portfolio Management and Mutual Funds, and served as global head of derivatives.

He received a BA from Dartmouth College and an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.

John Angelica
John R. Angelica
Managing Director

John R. Angelica serves as Managing Director of The Church Pension Fund (CPF). He is responsible for managing the fixed-income investment portfolio for CPF, as well as the investments of CPF’s insurance affiliates. He joined CPF in 2012.

Prior to joining CPF, he worked in Securitized Products Sales and Trading at J.P. Morgan Securities, and held trading and portfolio management positions at J.P. Morgan Investment Management Inc. and Brown Brothers Harriman & Co.

He earned a BA in Economics from Boston College and an MBA from The Stern School of Business at New York University.

Helen Fox-O’Brien
Managing Director

Helen Fox-O’Brien serves as Managing Director of The Church Pension Fund (CPF). She is responsible for managing the global private equity portfolio for CPF. She joined CPF in 1993.

Prior to CPF, she held corporate finance and pension fund management positions at Exxon Corporation and its affiliates. 

She received a BA in Economics summa cum laude from Newton College of the Sacred Heart, and an MBA in Finance with distinction from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. 

She is a member of a number of private fund LP advisory boards and serves on the Board of the Father Flanagan’s Fund for Needy Children.

Brian Jandrucko
Managing Director

Brian Jandrucko serves as Managing Director of The Church Pension Fund (CPF). He is responsible for managing the global public equity and hedge fund portfolio for CPF. He joined CPF in 2009.

Prior to CPF, he served as a partner and portfolio manager at Manchester Capital. Before this, he served as Vice President and Portfolio Manager at The J.P. Morgan Private Bank. 

He received a BA in Philosophy and Communications from Fordham University and an MBA from The Stern School of Business at New York University. He is a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst.

Rhonda Kershner

Managing Director

Rhonda Kershner serves as Managing Director of The Church Pension Fund (CPF). She is responsible for risk management and compliance, asset allocation, transition management, and performance measurement of CPF’s investment portfolio. She joined CPF in 2005.

Prior to CPF, she served as a Vice President in various portfolio manager and trading roles at J.P. Morgan Investment Management Inc. 

She received a BA in Mathematics from Franklin and Marshall College and an MBA in Finance from Fordham University.

Eric R. Mason
Managing Director

Eric Mason serves as Managing Director of The Church Pension Fund (CPF). He is responsible for overseeing CPF’s Hong Kong office and managing the Asia investment portfolio for CPF. He joined CPF in 2009.

Prior to CPF, he served as Fund Head for the Carlyle Asia Leveraged Finance Fund, and before that, he was Regional Head of Leveraged Finance for J.P. Morgan in Asia where he worked for more than 12 years.

He received a BA in Economics from the University of Delaware and an MPA/MIA from the School of International and Public Affairs (SIPA) at Columbia University, where he earned a Dean’s List scholarship. Mr. Mason speaks Mandarin Chinese.

Stephen Poulos

Managing Director

Stephen Poulos serves as Managing Director of The Church Pension Fund (CPF). His areas of focus include private equity and real assets. He joined CPF in 2000. During his tenure, he spent a year in CPF’s Hong Kong office.

Prior to CPF, he served as an analyst at Value Line, a leading New York–based provider of investment research.

He received a BS in Business Administration cum laude from the University of Richmond. He is a CFA® charterholder.

Sajith Ranasinghe

Managing Director

Sajith Ranasinghe serves as Managing Director of The Church Pension Fund (CPF). His areas of focus include alternative investments, with an emphasis on real estate. He joined CPF in 2007. During his tenure, he spent two years in CPF’s Hong Kong office.

Prior to CPF, he held several positions of increasing responsibility at Cambridge Associates, where he focused on hard asset investments and fund manager research. 

He received a BS in Finance magna cum laude from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University. He is a CFA® charterholder.

Robert Smulowitz

Managing Director

Robert Smulowitz serves as Managing Director of The Church Pension Fund (CPF). His primary area of focus is private equity. He joined CPF in 1998.

Prior to CPF, he served as a research analyst at Thomson Financial Services in the Syndicated Loans and Venture Economics divisions.

He received a BS in Finance cum laude from Touro College and an MBA in Finance and Investments from Baruch College.

Alan Snoddy
Managing Director

Alan Snoddy serves as Managing Director of The Church Pension Fund (CPF).  His primary responsibility is oversight of the global real estate investment portfolio.  He joined CPF in 1996 and has been involved with the firm’s socially responsible investing efforts since 2000.  Prior to CPF, he served as an analyst at Sanford C. Bernstein Inc.

He received a B.A. from the College of William & Mary and an MBA from Fordham University.  He is a CFA® charterholder.

June Yearwood
June Yearwood
Managing Director

June Yearwood serves as Managing Director of The Church Pension Fund (CPF). Her areas of focus include private equity, real estate and real assets. She joined CPF in 2006.

Prior to CPF, she served as Vice President, Finance and Administration of the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation. Before this, she served as Investment Director for the Foundation. 

She received a BA in History from Yale University and an MBA from The Stanford Graduate School of Business.
