Active Lay Employees
Your organization may provide a Short-Term Disability Benefit as a benefit to lay employees – either by paying the premium in full or by sharing the cost with lay your lay employees.
If you do not provide this benefit, we encourage you to stress the importance of purchasing short-term disability coverage to your employees to help them protect themselves and their families financially should they be unable to work, for up to one year.1
