Update to New Hire Process

Diocese Administrators can assign self-enrollments to new employees for group health and disability benefits. This streamlined approach, administrators enter personal and employment information and manage enrollments in retirement and group benefits all in one workflow.

New MyCPG feature

Beneficiary information for certain plan benefits can be viewed and updated under the new Beneficiaries tab

Diocesan administrator notifications

The relevant diocesan administrator will be notified via MAP when “Bill My Dio” is selected during benefits enrollment for a new hire.

Diocese administrators will receive notifications in MAP and via email when an employee is terminated in their diocese.

New MyCPG Accounts feature

Employees will be able to view their history of compensated Episcopal employment by signing in to MyCPG Accounts and selecting "See More" on the "Employment" tab.

Employee-Paid Disability Form Using eSignatures

Employees whose groups offer employee-paid disability can complete, sign, and submit the form required to enroll in or terminate this benefit online by following these steps:

• Log in to MyCPG Accounts
• Navigate to the Personal Information screen
• Select the Enrollment or Termination Form - Employee Paid STD and LTD

Employee Terminations Reminder

For future-dated terminations, employees will begin to receive email
notifications and other correspondence on the termination date you
specify in My Admin Portal (MAP). Therefore, it is important to inform the
employee and (if applicable) the diocese before the termination date.

For same-day terminations (submitted on the termination date),
notifications and correspondence will be sent to the employee no sooner
than 24 hours after the termination is submitted.

Streamlined Termination Process

When you submit an employment termination, MAP will automatically end:

• participation in group health, life, and disability benefits
• active participation in (and contributions to) retirement plans
• administrator access, if applicable

Reports at Your Fingertips

Access to reports for managing employee benefits, billing, and institutional information will be moved to MAP, with separate reports available for Annual Enrollment. Select the “Reports” tab on the MAP menu bar to see the updated reports.
