Roth IRA

Church Life Roth Individual Retirement Annuities (IRAs) offer you the opportunity to save for your retirement and supplement your pension and other savings, while providing some flexibility that Traditional IRAs do not.

With Roth IRAs:

  • Your contributions are not tax deductible, but your contributions and earnings grow tax-free.
  • Since you already paid taxes on the amount you contributed, qualified withdrawals are not subject to taxes (certain restrictions apply).
  • Qualified withdrawals can be made tax-free as early as age 59 ½, provided your IRA account has been open for at least five years.1
  • You can leave your balance in your Roth IRA for as long as you like. There are no required minimum distributions.

With a Roth IRA from Church Life, you will earn:

  • A guaranteed minimum rate of return of 1.0%
  • A bonus of 1.5% on all contributions made within the first year of your contract 2
