What Is Vesting?

  • Vesting defines when a participating employee receives complete ownership of contributions made into his or her account, including the earnings on those contributions.

Employee Contributions

  • Employee contributions are always 100% vested in this plan.

Employer Vesting Options

  • Employer contributions are always 100% vested in this plan.*

*Participants who terminated employment before January 1, 2012 may have been subject to a vesting schedule. Check with your previous employer to determine if this rule applies to you.
