The Reverend Canon Anne Mallonee is Executive Vice President and Chief Ecclesiastical Officer for CPG. She serves as an ambassador for CPG and is a key advisor to the organization. She joined CPG in 2014.
Immediately prior to joining CPG, she served as Vicar of Trinity Church Wall Street in New York City for ten years. Ordained for over 30 years, her ministry has been at the diocesan level and in campus, parish, and cathedral settings.
She holds a BA from the University of Kansas and an MDiv from Berkeley Divinity School at Yale University.
Mary Kate Wold serves as the CEO and President and board member of the Church Pension Group (CPG), a pension and financial services company that serves The Episcopal Church. She has held leadership positions in the financial services, pharmaceutical and healthcare, legal, and government sectors, including serving on the boards of numerous organizations.
Prior to joining CPG, Ms. Wold was Senior Vice President, Finance, and a Principal Corporate Officer of Wyeth, one of the world’s largest research-based pharmaceutical companies, where she provided direction across a spectrum of Wyeth’s business and finance operations. Before Wyeth, she was a partner and chaired the tax practice group of Shearman & Sterling, one of the world’s leading law firms, advising global clients on cross-border mergers and acquisitions and capital markets transactions. Earlier in her career, she served in the United States Department of the Treasury as a member of the Office of International Tax Counsel, where she negotiated the first income tax treaty between the United States and China.
Ms. Wold has served on numerous boards of both for-profit and non-profit organizations. She is currently a board member of Nucleus RadioPharma, Inc., a company modernizing the production of radiopharmaceuticals for cancer patients. She also sits on the board of The Jackson Laboratory, a biomedical research institution dedicated to the discovery of genomic solutions to cancer and other human diseases, and she is a board member of the Burke Neurological Institute, an academic and neurological research organization affiliated with Weill Cornell Medicine.
She serves on the vestry of Trinity Church Wall Street in New York City and on its investment committee. She is the former chair of the Church Benefits Association, a national industry association of faith-based benefits organizations, and is a former director and chair of a publicly traded medical-device company. Her professional affiliations include membership in the Women’s Forum of New York and Women Corporate Directors.
A native of North Dakota, Ms. Wold attended Hamline University in St. Paul, Minnesota, from which she graduated summa cum laude and was elected a member of Phi Beta Kappa. She graduated cum laude from the University of Michigan Law School. She holds an honorary degree of Doctor of Humane Letters from the Berkeley Divinity School at Yale University.
Rebecca Linder Blachly serves as Director of the Office of Government Relations for The Episcopal Church. Prior to taking on this role in September 2016, she was the Senior Policy Advisor for Africa in the Office of Religion and Global Affairs at the US Department of State.
Her previous positions include Acting Chief of the Strategic Communication Division at US Africa Command in Stuttgart, Germany, Special Assistant to the Principal Deputy Under Secretary of Defense for Policy, and Research Associate in the Post-Conflict Reconstruction Project at the Center for Strategic and International Studies. She has conducted fieldwork and research throughout Africa and the Middle East and she has published on civil-military relations and information sharing in complex environments.
Ms. Blachly received her BA in philosophy from Williams College and her MDiv from Harvard University, and she is a Term Member at the Council on Foreign Relations. She is a member at Church of the Ascension and Saint Agnes in Washington, DC.
Sarah joined Cambridge Associates in 2017. She conducts manager research through the lens of impact and ESG and is based in the Boston office. Her focus spans asset classes and impact themes, and she leverages this research to support clients in activating impact and environmental, social, and governance considerations in portfolios.
She has more than ten years of diverse experience in the nonprofit and private sectors. Sarah began her career advancing women’s political and economic empowerment in western Africa. She then spent four years with Conservation International in Washington, DC, leveraging climate change science to influence global policy. This work prompted her graduate studies at Duke University, where she focused on the link between corporate strategy, environmental and social performance, and impact investing.
Prior to joining Cambridge Associates, she worked for the management consulting firm Partners in Performance on operational improvement initiatives for industrial clients around the world. Sarah brings a unique blend of perspectives in environmental management and business strategy and operations to Cambridge Associates’ sustainability and impact investing work, and balances client engagement with in-depth manager research.
She received an MBA from Fuqua School of Business, Duke University, a Master of Environmental Management from Duke University, and a BA from Bates College.
Adam is the Director of Ethics and Engagement for the Church of England Pensions Board, as well as Co-Chair of the Transition Pathway Initiative and a Board Member of the Institutional Investors Group on Climate Change (IIGCC). He is also the co-lead, on behalf of CA100+, for engagement with Royal Dutch Shell that led to the 2018 joint statement on climate targets agreed between Shell and institutional investors.
Following the Brumadinho Tailings Dam disaster, Adam is co–lead of the Mining and Tailings Safety Initiative with John Howchin, from the Swedish Ethics Council. He also represents the Principles for Responsible Investment as a co–convenor of the Global Tailings Review.
Adam founded and now Co-Chairs the Transition Pathway Initiative (TPI), an asset owner-led and asset manager-supported global initiative that assesses companies’ preparedness for the transition to the low-carbon economy (and publishes this through the London School of Economics). Adam is also the lead for the Church of England on the Mining and Faith Reflections Initiative (MFRI), a forum that convenes dialogue between mining company CEOs and Church leaders.
Adam also serves as a member of the Royal College of Physicians Investment Advisory Board and on the Pension and Lifetime Savings Association (PLSA) Stewardship Advisory Group.
Christopher Rowe is a Managing Director of CPG. He is responsible for leading CPG’s socially responsible investment engagement strategy and outreach initiatives. He works to build relationships with companies in which CPG invests, peer organizations, the Episcopal Church, and other stakeholders with similar values. Additionally, he works on behalf of the Chief Investment Officer to oversee various aspects of administration for the Investments Department, including communications and compliance.
Prior to CPG, Christopher was Chief of Staff to the CEO of PGIM, Prudential Financial’s asset management business, where he was responsible for wide-ranging activities, including business administration, external relations, and sustainability. Earlier in his career he worked directly with institutions and faith-based investors on strategies for integrating values with investments.
He received a BA in economics from Haverford College and an MBA in finance from New York University. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst.
Rachel Segal has been an ESG Research Analyst at Pzena Investment Management (Pzena) since March 2019. At Pzena, her role is to conduct proprietary ESG research, lead ESG-related engagement efforts and manage the firm’s relationships with third party organizations, including the Principles for Responsible Investment (to which Pzena is a signatory).
Prior to joining Pzena, Rachel spent time as a sustainability consultant, both internally at BNY Mellon and in client service at PwC. During her two years at BNY Mellon, Rachel advised the bank’s various business lines on how to better incorporate ESG into their business practices and products. For example, she co-led an impact investing pilot strategy with the Investment Management division. During her four years at PwC, Rachel worked with clients across all industries to set corporate sustainability strategy and environmental finance targets, develop sustainability and risk-management policy best-practices and catalyze internal organization transformation.
Rachel is originally from the UK and graduated with a BA in Geography from Emmanuel College at Cambridge University and an MA in International Relations and Economics from The Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS).
